I explore Grunge Wall Art through surfaces that make wear, use, and exposure visible. Abandoned buildings, old interiors, torn posters, weathered timber, and marked urban walls give these photographs their rougher textures. I look for the relationship between a strong overall form and the smaller layers of damage or change, allowing a doorway, a window, or a faded mark to become the focus. Colour can reveal differences in the surface, while monochrome gives more attention to texture and contrast.
