I explore Havana Wall Art through the close relationship between people, older cars, and the architecture of the street. Rooftop layers, worn doorways, painted facades, musicians, and a man pausing with a newspaper give these photographs different ways of seeing the city. A classic car can provide a strong shape within the frame, while a small human gesture gives a larger building its everyday scale. I look for light that makes those relationships clear, in colour as well as monochrome.
