As the sun dipped toward the horizon, I stood on the shores of Pollenthai Beach in India, my camera poised to capture a moment of serenity and tradition. The golden light of the setting sun cast its warm hues upon the sands, reflecting upon the water's surface as the last glimmers of day seeped into the sky. The fishermen, silhouetted against the backdrop of the fading day, prepared their wooden boats to embark on their nightly quest.
With each push, the vessels cut through the water, the fishermen's muscles straining as they guided their crafts toward the lapping waves. Their rhythmic dance with the sea, a delicate balance of strength and agility, has been passed down through generations. This moment, frozen in time, encapsulates the deep connection between these fishermen and their environment, their livelihoods interweaved with the ebb and flow of the tide.
Pollenthai Beach is in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, a region renowned for its stunning coastline and rich cultural heritage. This coastal haven has been a center for fishing communities for centuries, its people adapting to the ever-changing landscape and embracing the traditions that continue to define their identity.

As the creator, I personally print, sign, and package every print at my studio in Haliburton, Ontario. These prints are then shipped worldwide via Canada Post free of charge. Therefore, delivery times can vary based on location, anywhere from a few days to several weeks.
Additionally, when traveling and shooting on location, orders placed during these periods will be dispatched upon my return. This may result in delivery times extending to several weeks. However, rest assured that the wait for these unique pieces is well worth it!
