This scene stopped me in my tracks the first time I walked past it. In the middle of the Nevada desert, there’s this surreal moment where New York suddenly appears—compressed, stylized, almost theatrical—and yet under the right light, it feels grounded and real. What you’re looking at here is the New York New York Hotel in Las Vegas, with its replica Statue of Liberty standing tall against a cluster of familiar skyline forms, all stripped down into black and white.
I chose to photograph it at night, when the contrast does the heavy lifting. The sky falls away into deep black, and what remains is structure—clean edges, lit windows, repeating lines. The statue itself becomes the anchor, rising out of the lower architecture with a quiet kind of authority. Around it, the buildings stack and layer, each one catching just enough light to separate from the next. It’s not chaos—it’s controlled density.
Standing there, I remember the hum of the Strip just behind me—traffic, voices, neon flicker—but in the frame, none of that exists. That’s always been the pull for me. I’m not documenting the noise. I’m isolating something that feels composed, almost still, even in a place that never really slows down. This was photographed on location, on foot, working the angles until the composition settled into something balanced and deliberate.
What I like about this image is how it walks the line between reality and imitation. It’s not New York—but it is, in a way. There’s a familiarity in the shapes, the skyline rhythm, the presence of the statue. At the same time, it’s unmistakably Las Vegas—constructed, curated, designed to evoke rather than replicate. In black and white, that tension becomes even more pronounced. The distractions drop away, and what’s left is form, light, and intention.
From a décor standpoint, this piece fits naturally into modern spaces that lean toward contrast and structure. Offices, living rooms, hallways—anywhere that benefits from a strong architectural presence without overwhelming the room. It carries weight, but it doesn’t shout. It holds its space quietly.

This photograph is released as a signed and numbered limited edition of only 10 prints in total across all available sizes combined—not 10 prints in each size.
Every size is drawn from the same edition. Whether the photograph is purchased as a small print or at the largest available size, it uses one of the 10 edition numbers.
I personally sign and number each print on the reverse, and every print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording its title, dimensions, medium, edition number, and date of issue.
Once all 10 prints have been sold, the edition will be permanently closed. No additional numbered editions of the photograph will be produced in another size or format.

I personally produce every photograph using archival pigment inks on premium archival paper with a subtle luster finish.
The paper provides rich tonal depth, excellent fine-detail reproduction, and a refined surface that reduces distracting glare under normal indoor lighting. It is especially well suited to both color and black-and-white photography.
Each photograph is sold as an unframed fine art print, allowing it to be framed according to the collector’s space and personal style.
Before a print leaves my studio, I carefully inspect it for color, tonal accuracy, surface quality, and overall presentation. Nothing is outsourced, and every finished print passes through my hands.

Worldwide delivery is included in the listed price, so there is no additional shipping charge added during checkout. I select an appropriate tracked delivery service based on the destination, print size, and current shipping requirements.
Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or circumstances beyond my control.
Because I also travel extensively to create new photographic work, studio dispatch may occasionally be delayed while I am away. When that happens, the print will be produced and shipped as soon as I return to the studio.
