Haunt Photos

I approach Haunt Photos through empty buildings whose rooms and surfaces retain visible traces of earlier use. Abandoned hospital interiors, remote cabins, old hotels, boathouses, and farmhouses offer different kinds of enclosure and exposure. A doorway can draw the eye into another room, while a window changes the atmosphere of the space around it. I look for the balance between architectural detail and quieter areas, letting worn material and light suggest the character of a place.
