La Bodeguita Graffiti: A Canvas of Names - Havana, Cuba Photo Print

As the artist behind this photograph, I invite you to delve into the vibrant and dynamic scene at La Bodeguita del Medio in Havana, Cuba. With its walls adorned with graffiti and handwritten signatures, this place is more than just a popular tourist spot; it's a living, ever-evolving canvas that tells the story of its guestsfamous and unknown guests.

La Bodeguita del Medio, the birthplace of the Mojito, opened its doors in 1942 under the name Casa Martinez. Initially, it traded in traditional Cuban goods before blossoming into a restaurant, a metamorphosis that has seen it become a hub of cultural exchange. Names of luminaries such as Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Neruda, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez are etched on its walls, a tradition sparked by a regular patron, journalist Leandro Garcia.

This photograph captures the essence of this iconic locale, focusing on the rich tapestry of names and messages that have accumulated over the years. In taking this shot, I was drawn to the allure of each unique inscription, the untold stories behind each name, and the life force that each mark brings to the wall.

The photograph is a museum-grade signed print, promising the highest quality. Each print is meticulously prepared on acid-free 100% cotton paper, ensuring a velvety texture and a warm-tone finish. The archival inks in the printing process guarantee sharp precision, smooth transitions, deep blacks, intricate details, and vibrant hues that bring the scene to life.

Upon purchase, you will receive a print hand-signed by me on the reverse side, validating its authenticity. Alongside the print, you will receive a certificate of authenticity, further reinforcing the originality and quality of the work. A lifetime warranty against fading provides additional assurance, promising the longevity of the print.

While frames are not included, the beauty of the print stands on its own, allowing you to choose a framing option that best suits your style and the decor of your space. The print is delivered free of charge to any location worldwide, with a 14-day satisfaction guarantee that promises a complete reimbursement if needed.

Limited Edition of 10

This photograph is released as a signed and numbered limited edition of only 10 prints in total across all available sizes combined—not 10 prints in each size.

Every size is drawn from the same edition. Whether the photograph is purchased as a small print or at the largest available size, it uses one of the 10 edition numbers.

I personally sign and number each print on the reverse, and every print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording its title, dimensions, medium, edition number, and date of issue.

Once all 10 prints have been sold, the edition will be permanently closed. No additional numbered editions of the photograph will be produced in another size or format.

Premium Archival Fine Art Prints

I personally produce every photograph using archival pigment inks on premium archival paper with a subtle luster finish.

The paper provides rich tonal depth, excellent fine-detail reproduction, and a refined surface that reduces distracting glare under normal indoor lighting. It is especially well suited to both color and black-and-white photography.

Each photograph is sold as an unframed fine art print, allowing it to be framed according to the collector’s space and personal style.

Before a print leaves my studio, I carefully inspect it for color, tonal accuracy, surface quality, and overall presentation. Nothing is outsourced, and every finished print passes through my hands.

Worldwide Delivery Included

Every print is personally produced, inspected, signed, numbered, and carefully packaged by me at my studio in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada.

Worldwide delivery is included in the listed price, so there is no additional shipping charge added during checkout. I select an appropriate tracked delivery service based on the destination, print size, and current shipping requirements.

Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or circumstances beyond my control.

Because I also travel extensively to create new photographic work, studio dispatch may occasionally be delayed while I am away. When that happens, the print will be produced and shipped as soon as I return to the studio.
