Historic Charm of Długi Targ, Gdansk: A Black and White Perspective

Walking the streets of Gdansk, Poland, I took this photograph on a crisp November day. This fine art print brings to life the historic charm of Długi Targ, the city's main street, through the lens of my camera. The absence of color in the print lends a timeless quality to the architectural marvels and cobblestone paths that define this charming cityscape.

In the near ground of the image, a line of lampposts extends towards the horizon, their arching forms offering a stark contrast to the angular edifices that rise behind them. Each façade, ornately decorated with stone carvings and wrought-iron balconies, brims with untold stories and centuries of history.

As your eye moves along the street, it is naturally drawn to the towering St. Mary's Church that punctuates the skyline in the distance. The narrowing perspective of the street enhances a sense of depth, drawing you into the heart of this historic city.

Through this photograph, I invite you to experience Gdansk's architectural heritage and enchanting beauty. This is a testament to the power of photography, not just to capture a moment but to preserve the essence of a place in time.

This museum-grade print is signed by me on the reverse side, ensuring its authenticity. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and is protected by a lifetime warranty against fading. The prints are of the highest museum quality, printed on acid-free 100% cotton paper with a velvety, subtly textured, warm-tone finish. The archival inks used bring out sharp precision, smooth transitions, deep blacks, and vivid hues, showcasing the intricate details of the photograph. Please note the print is sold without a frame.

With free global delivery and a 14-day satisfaction guarantee, you can confidently bring this piece of Gdansk's history into your home. If the print doesn't meet your expectations, full reimbursement is assured within 14 days. Enjoy this piece of my photographic journey, delivered to your doorstep anywhere in the world, without any additional cost.

Limited Edition of 10

This photograph is released as a signed and numbered limited edition of only 10 prints in total across all available sizes combined—not 10 prints in each size.

Every size is drawn from the same edition. Whether the photograph is purchased as a small print or at the largest available size, it uses one of the 10 edition numbers.

I personally sign and number each print on the reverse, and every print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording its title, dimensions, medium, edition number, and date of issue.

Once all 10 prints have been sold, the edition will be permanently closed. No additional numbered editions of the photograph will be produced in another size or format.

Premium Archival Fine Art Prints

I personally produce every photograph using archival pigment inks on premium archival paper with a subtle luster finish.

The paper provides rich tonal depth, excellent fine-detail reproduction, and a refined surface that reduces distracting glare under normal indoor lighting. It is especially well suited to both color and black-and-white photography.

Each photograph is sold as an unframed fine art print, allowing it to be framed according to the collector’s space and personal style.

Before a print leaves my studio, I carefully inspect it for color, tonal accuracy, surface quality, and overall presentation. Nothing is outsourced, and every finished print passes through my hands.

Worldwide Delivery Included

Every print is personally produced, inspected, signed, numbered, and carefully packaged by me at my studio in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada.

Worldwide delivery is included in the listed price, so there is no additional shipping charge added during checkout. I select an appropriate tracked delivery service based on the destination, print size, and current shipping requirements.

Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or circumstances beyond my control.

Because I also travel extensively to create new photographic work, studio dispatch may occasionally be delayed while I am away. When that happens, the print will be produced and shipped as soon as I return to the studio.
