Cigar Wall Art | Cuban Portraits & Carved Character – Dan Kosmayer Fine Art Photography

I approach Cigar Wall Art through the individual human expression and object detail that make each scene worth looking at. A street portrait of older men in Trinidad, Cuba, and a carved figure holding a cigar offer different treatments of the same subject. Faces and surroundings carry the portrait, while the sculpted form becomes a character in its own right. I look for the gesture, texture, or small visual relationship that gives the photograph more than a simple record of an object. Cigar Wall Art connects with my Cuba Wall Art and Street Portrait Photography collections for more photographs centred on people, expression, and place.
