Morning Fog Drifting Across Endless Haliburton Autumn Forest Hills
From high above the forests of Haliburton, the landscape unfolds in quiet waves of color and mist. Ridge after ridge of maple and hardwood forest stretches toward the horizon, each hill glowing with the warm tones of autumn. Between those hills, ribbons of fog slide slowly through the valleys, softening the terrain and creating a layered landscape that feels almost like a series of islands floating in a white sea.
What makes this moment so compelling is the rhythm of the land itself. The forest canopy rises and falls across the frame, repeating in gentle curves as far as the eye can see. Each ridge carries its own patchwork of fall color—burnt orange, rust, amber, and muted gold—while the fog settles into the low ground like water filling a basin. From above, the familiar forests of Ontario transform into something abstract and expansive, revealing patterns that cannot be seen from the ground.
I photographed this scene during an early morning drone flight over the Haliburton Highlands, a region I have explored many times with a camera. Conditions like this are fleeting. The fog forms overnight when cool air settles into the valleys, and as the first sunlight reaches the forest canopy, it begins to move, drift, and slowly dissolve. For a brief window, the hills appear suspended in mist, their colors glowing through the soft light of the morning.
The aerial perspective reveals the quiet scale of this northern landscape. Endless woodland stretches across the terrain, broken only by rolling ridges and shallow valleys carved through centuries of weather and time. It’s a view that captures the essence of autumn in Ontario—wild, expansive, and calm at once.
I personally sign each print of this photograph and include a certificate of authenticity. The image is produced using archival pigment inks on museum-quality archival paper, ensuring rich color, fine detail, and long-term permanence suitable for collectors and interior spaces alike.

This photograph is released as a signed and numbered limited edition of only 10 prints in total across all available sizes combined—not 10 prints in each size.
Every size is drawn from the same edition. Whether the photograph is purchased as a small print or at the largest available size, it uses one of the 10 edition numbers.
I personally sign and number each print on the reverse, and every print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording its title, dimensions, medium, edition number, and date of issue.
Once all 10 prints have been sold, the edition will be permanently closed. No additional numbered editions of the photograph will be produced in another size or format.

I personally produce every photograph using archival pigment inks on premium archival paper with a subtle luster finish.
The paper provides rich tonal depth, excellent fine-detail reproduction, and a refined surface that reduces distracting glare under normal indoor lighting. It is especially well suited to both color and black-and-white photography.
Each photograph is sold as an unframed fine art print, allowing it to be framed according to the collector’s space and personal style.
Before a print leaves my studio, I carefully inspect it for color, tonal accuracy, surface quality, and overall presentation. Nothing is outsourced, and every finished print passes through my hands.

Worldwide delivery is included in the listed price, so there is no additional shipping charge added during checkout. I select an appropriate tracked delivery service based on the destination, print size, and current shipping requirements.
Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or circumstances beyond my control.
Because I also travel extensively to create new photographic work, studio dispatch may occasionally be delayed while I am away. When that happens, the print will be produced and shipped as soon as I return to the studio.
