Hog Island Lighthouse is located at the western tip of Paradise Island at the entrance. The lighthouse was built in 1817 and is located on Hog Island.
In the foreground, you can see a channel buoy marking the northwest entrance to New Providence and the Port of Nassau. It is a sunny day with a few fluffy clouds. The historic and well-known lighthouse is the oldest in The Bahamas. It is also the oldest surviving lighthouse in the West Indies. It is located at the western tip of Paradise Island.
