I remember pulling into Lowell, Arizona, in my Sprinter van and feeling as if I’d slipped through a crease in time. This little stretch of Erie Street sits quietly on the edge of Bisbee, but the moment you roll up to the curb, the world suddenly rewinds a few decades. Old storefronts, weathered brick façades, faded signage, and a whole lineup of classic cars sitting right out on the street as if the owners just ducked inside for a quick drink. It’s the kind of place I live for—unexpected, unscripted, and full of character.

This photograph captures a slice of that atmosphere, the way I experienced it: slow, unhurried, and wrapped in the charm of an era that still lingers in Lowell. The vintage sedans parked in front of the Lowell Gym look perfectly at home, their soft curves and chrome trim creating a quiet rhythm across the frame.
