Toronto Glass Tower and CN Tower | Abstract Architecture Photography
An Upward Toronto View in Blue Glass and Blur
Looking up between Toronto's buildings, I found a composition that could hold both the city's architecture and a softer impression of its light. A glass office tower rises along the right side, with the CN Tower appearing farther back among the buildings. This color photograph carries a pronounced blur around its clearer lines, turning an urban view into something more fluid.
The office façade provides the strongest structure. Its window divisions climb upward and narrow with perspective, giving the eye a route through the frame. Around that geometry, blue, white, and grey tones soften into streaks and reflections. Warmer color near the lower buildings keeps the image from feeling entirely cool.
I like the space left for the sky. Its brightness opens the left side of the photograph, balancing the darker glass at the upper right. The distant tower is part of the city rather than its whole subject; finding it within the composition gives the view a particular Toronto connection.
The contrast between definition and blur is central to this image. Some architectural edges remain easy to follow, while others stretch into color. That gives the photograph a sense of movement even though the buildings themselves are still.
For someone who enjoys city photography with an abstract quality, this is a different way to bring Toronto into a room. The vertical composition emphasizes height, and the softened detail lets the city's shapes and light carry the atmosphere.

About My Fine Art Photography
Every photograph in my collection comes from my own travels, explorations, and years behind the camera.
I create my work as photographic art rather than mass-produced decoration. From street portraits and abandoned places to landscapes, architecture, and the unusual subjects I discover along the way, each image begins with something that made me stop and look.
My photographs are available in multiple sizes so the same image can work in anything from an intimate wall space to a large statement installation.
