The huge bow of SS Sapona shipwreck out of the water
Unit price per
Wreck of SS Sapona off Bimini, the Bahamas, under summer cloudscape
The S.S. Sapona was one of a fleet of concrete ships designed by Henry Ford for the WWI war effort. Unfortunately, during a hurricane in 1926, the ship ran aground and was damaged substantially. The wreck sits in 15 feet of water, a few miles off Bennett's Harbour in South Bimini. The bombing and weathering have now worn away the shipwreck's concrete hull.
