Buenos Aires Glass Building Reflections Black and White Wall Art
A Window Grid Folding Around the Building Corner
The corner of this Buenos Aires office building turns a repeated window grid into a strong three-dimensional form. One face angles away to the left, while the other spreads across the right side of the photograph. I made this image in 2011, looking closely at the facade rather than including the whole tower or the street below.
Dark reflections of neighbouring buildings rise along both edges. Between them, the lighter glass holds small marks of interior light and faint shapes behind the panes. The windows repeat regularly, but the view inside and the reflections outside prevent the surface from becoming completely uniform. There is a lot to notice within a composition built from very few larger shapes.
I like the way black and white strengthens the difference between the grid and what it contains. The narrow dark lines stay precise, while the reflected buildings become uneven silhouettes. Bright short lines inside the offices add another rhythm at a smaller scale. Following those details changes the photograph from a geometric pattern into a close view of a working city building.
This architectural wall art suits an office, contemporary living room or space with clean furnishings. It can appeal through its Buenos Aires setting or simply through the interplay of glass, repetition and reflection. The building’s corner gives the image its structure, but the smaller variations across the panes are what keep it interesting over time.

About My Fine Art Photography
Every photograph in my collection comes from my own travels, explorations, and years behind the camera.
I create my work as photographic art rather than mass-produced decoration. From street portraits and abandoned places to landscapes, architecture, and the unusual subjects I discover along the way, each image begins with something that made me stop and look.
My photographs are available in multiple sizes so the same image can work in anything from an intimate wall space to a large statement installation.
