Bald Cypress trees draped in Spanish moss, Caddo Lake State Park, Texas.
In this featured landscape art print, we have a scenic view of old Bald Cypress trees draped in Spanish moss with fall colors in the swamps and bayou of Caddo Lake. Caddo Lake is a beautiful wetland located about twenty-nine miles northeast of Marshall, near the border between Texas and Louisiana.
Caddo Lake is known to have the largest Cypress tree forest in the world. The lake is a maze of bayous, wetlands, and backwaters that span over 25,4000 acres. It is also the largest body of water in the American South and is internationally protected under the RAMSAR treaty.
I love the warm golden hour light illuminating the beauty of the orange and yellow leaves of the massive trees. The moss hanging off the tree branches make with think of childhood and tinsel hanging off a tree. The panoramic nature art print looks spectacular, hanging on a wall.
