This black-and-white photograph was taken at Pemaquid Point on the coast of Maine, where the historic lighthouse stands above the Atlantic, anchored to rock and shoreline. In this view, the lighthouse and keeper’s house sit quietly against open water and sky, forming a scene defined by structure, space, and restraint rather than drama.

Stripped of colour, the image becomes about relationships—solid forms against open sea, the softness of sky meeting the weight of stone and wood.
