In the early spring, I found myself wandering through the tranquil landscape of rural Maine when I stumbled upon a striking, large white house nestled amidst a dormant, brown setting. The classic New England architecture, characterized by its clapboard siding and steeply pitched roof, exuded a timeless charm that resonated deeply with me. I felt compelled to capture this piece of Americana on my journey.
The house stood proudly, devoid of shutters, with a welcoming porch that invited one to imagine cozy evenings spent in its warm embrace. The surrounding brown grass, a testament to the season's dormancy, contrasted beautifully with the crisp whiteness of the structure. As the clouds diffused the daylight, a soft, even illumination fell upon the scene, adding a sense of serenity and depth to the image.
This photograph was taken in the beautiful state of Maine in the northeastern United States. Known for its picturesque landscapes, rugged coastlines, and charming small towns, Maine offers the discerning photographer a rich tapestry of visual delights. This photograph is released as a signed and numbered edition of 10 prints across all available sizes. Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist on the reverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Once all 10 prints have been sold, this work will be permanently retired, and no further numbered editions will be produced in any size or format. A small number of Artist Proofs may be retained by the artist for archival or exhibition purposes.
