In the early spring, I found myself wandering through the tranquil landscape of rural Maine when I stumbled upon a striking, large white house nestled amidst a dormant, brown setting. The classic New England architecture, characterized by its clapboard siding and steeply pitched roof, exuded a timeless charm that resonated deeply with me. I felt compelled to capture this piece of Americana on my journey.
The house stood proudly, devoid of shutters, with a welcoming porch that invited one to imagine cozy evenings spent in its warm embrace. The surrounding brown grass, a testament to the season's dormancy, contrasted beautifully with the crisp whiteness of the structure. As the clouds diffused the daylight, a soft, even illumination fell upon the scene, adding a sense of serenity and depth to the image.
This photograph was taken in the beautiful state of Maine in the northeastern United States. As the creator, I personally print, sign, and package every print at my studio in Haliburton, Ontario. These prints are then shipped worldwide via Canada Post free of charge. Therefore, delivery times can vary based on location, anywhere from a few days to several weeks.
Additionally, when traveling and shooting on location, orders placed during these periods will be dispatched upon my return. This may result in delivery times extending to several weeks. However, rest assured that the wait for these unique pieces is well worth it!
