Ancient double door Tuscany Italy
I love the buildings, walls, and doors in Italy. Every ancient building is filled with incredible color, texture, and ... history. Looking at this exciting wall, you can see centuries of stone and brickwork. The door displays decades, if not centuries, worth of natural decay. Look closely at the patterns on the wooden doors; the erosion and weathering are advanced, which begs the question. How old is it? When was it first painted? For all I know, this wall and door could be 300 years old or more. Multiple generations of Italians have used this building, which seems to be some storage. Which, to me, creates a sense of history or attachment to the past.
