Dawn's Palette: Violet & Blue Mountain Tops at Dante's View

As the dawn unfurls its colors over Death Valley National Park, I find myself perched at Dante's View. My lens drinks in the stark beauty of the desert, bathing in the soft hues of violet and blue that dance across the mountain tops. The low sun, a shy guest hidden behind the atmospheric haze, casts long shadows over the rugged landscape and etches every dune, dry lake bed, and jagged rock formation in dramatic relief. The rocky outcropping known as Dante's View takes center stage in my frame, providing a grandstand view of the lowest point in North America - the Badwater Basin. The stark contrast between the vibrant sky and the somber landscape beneath sets the stage for a visual spectacle, a compelling narrative captured in a single, timeless frame.

Nestled in the Black Mountains, Dante's View is an elevated viewpoint in Death Valley National Park, California. From the vantage point of 5,475 feet above sea level, it presents an expansive panorama that includes salt flats, dunes, and an unending desert landscape. It's a short drive off the beaten path of California State Route 190, and its unique geologic features make it a must-visit spot for sunrise and sunset views over the park.

My photo art prints embody my passion for capturing these moments. Each is printed on museum-quality paper with acid-free, 100% Archival Photo Paper and archival inks. The combination ensures sharp precision, smooth transitions, deep blacks, intricate details, and vibrant hues, preserving the captured moment's original, breathtaking glory. Each print is hand-signed by me, on the reverse side, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. I also offer a lifetime warranty against fading, a testament to the enduring quality of my prints.

I'm pleased to offer free worldwide delivery on my prints and stand by a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're unsatisfied, I provide a full reimbursement within 14 days. However, remember that while my prints provide a window to the world's hidden corners, they come unframed. This lets you choose a frame that best suits your aesthetic and the space you wish to adorn.

Limited Edition of 10

This photograph is released as a signed and numbered limited edition of only 10 prints in total across all available sizes combined—not 10 prints in each size.

Every size is drawn from the same edition. Whether the photograph is purchased as a small print or at the largest available size, it uses one of the 10 edition numbers.

I personally sign and number each print on the reverse, and every print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording its title, dimensions, medium, edition number, and date of issue.

Once all 10 prints have been sold, the edition will be permanently closed. No additional numbered editions of the photograph will be produced in another size or format.

Premium Archival Fine Art Prints

I personally produce every photograph using archival pigment inks on premium archival paper with a subtle luster finish.

The paper provides rich tonal depth, excellent fine-detail reproduction, and a refined surface that reduces distracting glare under normal indoor lighting. It is especially well suited to both color and black-and-white photography.

Each photograph is sold as an unframed fine art print, allowing it to be framed according to the collector’s space and personal style.

Before a print leaves my studio, I carefully inspect it for color, tonal accuracy, surface quality, and overall presentation. Nothing is outsourced, and every finished print passes through my hands.

Worldwide Delivery Included

Every print is personally produced, inspected, signed, numbered, and carefully packaged by me at my studio in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada.

Worldwide delivery is included in the listed price, so there is no additional shipping charge added during checkout. I select an appropriate tracked delivery service based on the destination, print size, and current shipping requirements.

Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or circumstances beyond my control.

Because I also travel extensively to create new photographic work, studio dispatch may occasionally be delayed while I am away. When that happens, the print will be produced and shipped as soon as I return to the studio.
