Group of Canada wind turbines during sunset over farmers' fields
This fine art landscape photograph features a golden hour sunset sky silhouette over farmers' fields with Canadian wind turbines and propellers in Ontario, Canada. Sustainable energy conservation concept. I took the photo in South Western Ontario near Pelee National Park.
Wind turbines or windmills are 100 feet (30 meters) or more above ground. This design allows environmentally friends power generation to take advantage of the faster and less turbulent wind. Turbines catch the wind's energy with their propeller-like blades. Farmers and ranchers typically use these stand-alone wind turbines to cut their electric bills in windy areas.
