Old European wall with an ancient sealed door
There is beauty in the simplicity of urban scenes. Take this old-world image of a distressed, worn, cracked yellow wall with a door that is hard to describe. If you look closely, you will find what appears to be two separate keyholes, but there is no handle. Was it removed long ago? Who knows. Continue looking at the distressed surface of the small narrow door. The paint is old-dried and cracked. Continue looking deeper, and you can see multiple layers of old, decayed ancient layers of paint. It always makes me wonder -- why was it sealed, what did it look like when it was new, what is it used for now.
So that is just the detail of this centuries-old door. Now let us examine the wall... The many layers of paint and stone, the graffiti spray painted on the surface. Then finally, an uncomplicated old bicycle. Even the bike could be over 50 years old.
When you take in this urban fine art print, you find yourself constantly looking at the details and discovering something new to treat the visual senses.
