Texture Photography

I approach Texture Photography through surfaces that reveal their character under changing light. Ice, weathered timber, worn boats, brickwork, old interiors, and rusted vehicles provide varied materials within the selection. I look for the small ridges, marks, grain, and repeated details that make a surface distinct, while keeping its relationship with the wider subject visible. A close view can become a pattern; a broader composition places that pattern within a building or landscape.
