Streets of New York at night after rainfall | Limited Edition of 10
Cinematic Reflections from a New York City Night
The rain had just stopped when I took this. That moment when the city isn't quite ready to move on yet. The puddles haven't drained, the neon lights haven't softened, and the steam still curls up from the subway grates like ghosts coming up for air.
New York after a rainstorm always feels cinematic to me—like the city's been stripped down to its bones and dressed back up in light. In this piece, "Streets of New York at Night After Rainfall," I aimed to capture that in-between mood. There's movement in the reflection, sure, but also a quietness you don't often find in Manhattan.
This is what real urban photography looks like: not staged, not digitally fabricated, but lived and witnessed. I was there, walking the edge of the sidewalk, watching the streetlights bounce off wet asphalt, waiting for just the right balance of colour, grit, and silence.
As wall art, this image strikes that perfect balance between energy and introspection. It's moody but vibrant—ideal for a space that thrives on depth. Whether you're decorating a loft or a studio or want to bring that raw city texture into your home, this print anchors the room. There's a pulse in it, but it doesn't shout.
Every print is signed and crafted by hand in my studio, not mass-produced. If you're looking to collect wall art that tells a real story, not something AI dreamed up, this is one of those images that brings the street straight to you—no filter, no pretense.
This piece is part of my Urban Photography Collection, a series of real moments captured in cities across the world.
