I’d walked past this building a few times before I noticed how the morning light was playing on the tiles. It wasn’t dramatic. It wasn’t grand. But it was hypnotic.

The window itself was framed in a clean dormer, tucked neatly into a roof of overlapping tiles that shimmered like brushed metal.
