This photograph captures the second entrance to Mont Saint-Michel, one of France’s most iconic landmarks. What draws me to this image is the sheer presence of the structure—its ancient stone façade rising upright against the rugged cliff. I chose to frame this shot in monochrome to accentuate the textures and contrasts between the architectural details and the rocky landscape.
