Norway Oslo Colorful Graffiti On Old Brick Building Urban Street Art Photography | Limited Edition of 10
When I first walked past this wall in Oslo, I had to stop and just breathe it in for a moment. Years of paint, tags, throw-ups, and characters climb over the old brick like a living skin. The windows are stained, barred, and partly broken, catching little reflections of the street while the graffiti pushes right up against the glass. It’s the kind of surface that tells you a neighbourhood has a long memory and a lot of voices.
In this photograph you’re looking straight at the façade, almost like a mural within a mural. A bright red and orange graffiti piece stretches across the bottom, its shapes twisting into faces and patterns. Above it, dense line work in blues and whites weaves around the windows, while bold green letters shout from the centre of the frame. Small tags and scribbles fill every gap. Even the balcony on the right is wrapped in colour, adding another layer of geometry and story.
The light here is soft daylight, the kind of overcast northern sky that keeps the colours rich without harsh shadows. It lets you see the details: flaking brick, streaks of moss and grime, drip marks from years of rain running through spray paint. That contrast between decaying architecture and fresh paint is what drew me in. It’s chaotic, but there’s a strange order in the way the artists have stacked their marks over time.
I created this photograph on location in Oslo, spending time lining up the composition so the windows, balcony, and graffiti all lock together into one tight frame. This isn’t a studio setup or a digital collage—it’s a real wall in a real city, captured exactly as I found it. For me, that authenticity matters. When you hang this on your wall, you’re not just buying a design; you’re bringing home a slice of an urban story that actually exists out there in the world.
Each print is personally signed by me and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, so you know it comes directly from my own time in the streets with the camera. If you’re looking for bold, contemporary wall art that brings colour, texture, and city energy into your space, this piece was made for that role.
If you’re drawn to layered, high-energy street scenes like this, you might also enjoy Colorful Graffiti Collage Wall Art.
