New Zealand Forest Tree Branch Landscape Woodland Earth Tone Nature Photography Wall Art | Limited Edition of 10
This photograph pulls you straight into the heart of a dense New Zealand forest, where gnarled tree trunks rise and twist into a chaotic canopy overhead. Thick, interwoven branches stretch in every direction, overlapping and colliding, creating a natural lattice that feels both organic and almost architectural. There is no single focal point here—your eye moves continuously, tracing lines of bark, lichen, and leaf as the forest reveals itself layer by layer.
The trees dominate the frame with a quiet intensity. Their surfaces are textured and timeworn, marked by age, weather, and growth that refuses to be orderly. Earth tones run throughout the scene—muted greens, warm browns, and soft golds filtering through the leaves—giving the image a grounded, natural balance. Light slips through the canopy unevenly, catching on branches and highlighting the forest's depth without overpowering it. The result is immersive rather than dramatic, a space that invites observation rather than spectacle.
This is not a tidy forest scene, and that is precisely the point. Nature here is unapologetically complex. The tangled branches speak to resilience, adaptation, and the quiet persistence of living systems that evolve over decades, not moments. The composition mirrors that reality—dense, layered, and full of visual tension—yet it never feels overwhelming. Instead, it settles into a rhythm that becomes more compelling the longer you look.
I created this photograph on location while exploring New Zealand’s forest landscapes, standing beneath this canopy and working carefully with the available light and structure in front of me. Being present mattered. You can’t invent this kind of complexity or stumble upon it by accident—it reveals itself only when you slow down and pay attention. Each print is personally signed by me and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity confirming that it is a real photograph, created on location, and produced as fine art.
As wall art, this piece works exceptionally well in spaces where texture and depth are valued—modern interiors that benefit from organic contrast, or quieter rooms that invite reflection. It does not dominate a space; it anchors it. The longer it hangs, the more it reveals.

Limited Edition of 10
This photograph is released as a signed and numbered limited edition of only 10 prints in total across all available sizes combined—not 10 prints in each size.
Every size is drawn from the same edition. Whether the photograph is purchased as a small print or at the largest available size, it uses one of the 10 edition numbers.
I personally sign and number each print on the reverse, and every print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording its title, dimensions, medium, edition number, and date of issue.
Once all 10 prints have been sold, the edition will be permanently closed. No additional numbered editions of the photograph will be produced in another size or format.
Premium Archival Fine Art Prints
I personally produce every photograph using archival pigment inks on premium archival paper with a subtle luster finish.
The paper provides rich tonal depth, excellent fine-detail reproduction, and a refined surface that reduces distracting glare under normal indoor lighting. It is especially well suited to both color and black-and-white photography.
Each photograph is sold as an unframed fine art print, allowing it to be framed according to the collector’s space and personal style.
Before a print leaves my studio, I carefully inspect it for color, tonal accuracy, surface quality, and overall presentation. Nothing is outsourced, and every finished print passes through my hands.
Worldwide Delivery Included
Every print is personally produced, inspected, signed, numbered, and carefully packaged by me at my studio in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada.
Worldwide delivery is included in the listed price, so there is no additional shipping charge added during checkout. I select an appropriate tracked delivery service based on the destination, print size, and current shipping requirements.
Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or circumstances beyond my control.
Because I also travel extensively to create new photographic work, studio dispatch may occasionally be delayed while I am away. When that happens, the print will be produced and shipped as soon as I return to the studio.
