Titanic Museum Geometric Windows Black and White Photography
Angular Glass Shapes Seen From Inside the Museum
Sharp window shapes cross a dark interior wall in this black and white architectural photograph from the Titanic Museum in Belfast. I made the image in 2019, focusing on the arrangement of glass and frames rather than showing the whole building. Small glimpses of the city remain visible through the windows.
Several pointed forms seem to overlap, creating a strong diagonal movement across the image. Their pale edges stand out against the surrounding wall, while darker framing divides the glass into further shapes. I liked how the view could be read first as an abstract pattern, then gradually understood as a window within a real space.
A broad vertical support near the right of centre interrupts those diagonals. I kept it in the composition because its straight edge gives the more complex geometry something to work against. The narrow section on the far left establishes another vertical boundary. Between them, the angular windows form the main rhythm of the photograph.
Monochrome lets those relationships carry the image. Bright glass, shaded wall and repeated outlines provide depth without relying on colour. The distant buildings also give a sense of scale, reminding me that this graphic arrangement belongs to a place I visited. For a contemporary room or office, the photograph offers a structured architectural subject with enough irregularity to keep the eye moving.

About My Fine Art Photography
Every photograph in my collection comes from my own travels, explorations, and years behind the camera.
I create my work as photographic art rather than mass-produced decoration. From street portraits and abandoned places to landscapes, architecture, and the unusual subjects I discover along the way, each image begins with something that made me stop and look.
My photographs are available in multiple sizes so the same image can work in anything from an intimate wall space to a large statement installation.
