On an overcast day in Cahir, Ireland, I was struck by the imposing sight of the castle walls, surrounded by a moat and river, which seemed to defy the passage of time. This black and white photograph captures the awe-inspiring beauty and strength of this historic fortress, inviting the viewer to imagine the stories and battles that unfolded within its walls.
Cahir Castle, a prominent landmark in Ireland, has a storied history that dates back to the 13th century. The formidable walls, with their intricate stonework and imposing presence, stand as a testament to the architectural prowess and defensive strategies of the time. This photograph is released as a signed and numbered edition of 10 prints across all available sizes. Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist on the reverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Once all 10 prints have been sold, this work will be permanently retired, and no further numbered editions will be produced in any size or format. A small number of Artist Proofs may be retained by the artist for archival or exhibition purposes.
