Each structure here is part of Amersfoort’s unique architectural legacy, built along the city’s original wall after it was taken down in the 16th century. The name “Muurhuizen” literally translates to “Wall Houses,” a nod to how these buildings once formed a protective ring around the city’s heart.
The black-and-white treatment accentuates the brickwork's age-old textures and brings out the canal’s glassy reflections' symmetrical beauty. Additionally, when traveling and shooting on location, orders placed during these periods will be dispatched upon my return. This may result in delivery times extending to several weeks. However, rest assured that the wait for these unique pieces is well worth it!
