I remember pulling into Lowell, Arizona, in my Sprinter van and feeling as if I’d slipped through a crease in time. This little stretch of Erie Street sits quietly on the edge of Bisbee, but the moment you roll up to the curb, the world suddenly rewinds a few decades. Old storefronts, weathered brick façades, faded signage, and a whole lineup of classic cars sitting right out on the street as if the owners just ducked inside for a quick drink. It’s the kind of place I live for—unexpected, unscripted, and full of character.

This photograph captures a slice of that atmosphere, the way I experienced it: slow, unhurried, and wrapped in the charm of an era that still lingers in Lowell.
