I was standing along King Street when this scene came together — the streetcar sliding forward with that familiar hum, traffic edging around it, and the city rising in every direction. The light was soft, the air had that city warmth rising off the pavement, and the streetcar approached like a heartbeat rolling through the downtown core.

What I’ve always appreciated about these older streetcars is how they hold onto history even as the city pushes ahead.
