Keeler, California, USA. Living ghost town.
This image of an old building with a car park in Keeler, California, is considered a living ghost town. Many of its buildings are vacant and dilapidated, the lake it sits on is dry, and the mines the town was built to support are played out, yet about fifty people live in the town, so an entire ghost town is not.
The town, currently with a population of 50, sits on the shore of Owens Lake, which was once deep enough to see steamer ships cross the lake with the ore from the local mines. Unfortunately, in 1913 most of the lake's water was diverted to the Los Angeles Aqueduct, making the area the victim of frequent dust storms.

Edition Information
This photograph is released as a signed and numbered edition of 10 prints across all available sizes. Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist on the reverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Once all 10 prints have been sold, this work will be permanently retired, and no further numbered editions will be produced in any size or format. A small number of Artist Proofs may be retained by the artist for archival or exhibition purposes.
