As you step into the abandoned hospital on Ellis Island, you're immediately transported to a different time. The muted color palette adds to the historic feel of the space, and you can't help but feel a sense of reverence for the past. In the narrow room, a sink is positioned against one wall, and you can almost feel the presence of the nurses who would have used it so many years ago.

This room was once a stockroom for medical supplies, and cupboards line the walls, their faded paint peeling away to reveal the wood beneath. Drawers are missing, and you can imagine them being pulled out and rifled through quickly as doctors and nurses tended to their patients.

A water heat radiator stands sentinel on the far wall, and a window lets in a dim, eerie light. You can't help but feel a sense of unease as you stand there, wondering what kind of history this room has seen.

This fine-art photographic print captures the haunting beauty of this abandoned hospital on Ellis Island, preserving a moment in time that will never be forgotten.
