A middle-aged man traveling in Asia
On our travels to Larung Gar (China Buddhist Settlement), we were grounded in a small town when an accident blocked the road. I spent a few hours exploring the small Chinese village and met this Tibetan man traveling through. He looks like he has been on the road for quite some time. His clothing was unclean and worn. His bedding was tied behind his back. He had a water bottle in his pocket and was clutching a small item tightly in his hand.
He stopped and allowed me to take this street portrait photograph. What I find unusual about this black and white portrait is that despite signs of being on the road, he had a nicely trimmed, stylish mustache.
