Farming man looks up Kampalapura India
Unit price per
The subject of my photograph is a weathered farmer, dressed in traditional Indian clothing, gazing up at the sky above him. His deeply lined face tells a story of a life spent working the land, while his eyes reflect a sense of peaceful contemplation. The image is captured in black and white, with subtle tonal variations creating a sense of depth and texture in the folds of his clothing and the lines on his face.
The photograph is a headshot of a person, captured with a shallow depth of field that creates a blurred background. The subject's face is the main focus of the image, with their features and expression captured in detail. The background, although out of focus, adds a sense of context and environment to the photograph. The simplicity of the scene is both beautiful and poignant, capturing a way of life that is deeply connected to the earth and its cycles.
This photograph was taken in Kampalapura, a small village in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The region is known for its agriculture, and many people in the area still rely on traditional farming methods to make a living.
