When I captured this moment in Mysore, India, I was drawn to how he sat there—disconnected yet fully present in his environment. The longer I stood there, the more I felt like I wasn’t just photographing a person—I was capturing a mood. His boredom, the quiet stillness of the space, and the worn-down machine all seemed to speak to a larger narrative about time, youth, and the daily grind.
