Pigeons Flying in Historic Plaza Vieja, Havana
As I wandered through the vibrant streets of downtown Havana, the lively Plaza Vieja came into view. This black-and-white photograph captures a moment of tranquility amidst the usual hustle and bustle of Cuban life. The image shows pigeons taking flight, their wings a blur against the historic buildings that frame the square.
The architecture in Plaza Vieja is a stunning example of Cuban Baroque mixed with eclectic influences from the colonial period. The balconies' intricate ironwork and the soft, weathered facades tell stories of a bygone era. Each building, with its unique character, adds to the charm of this bustling square.
In the background, you can see the tall, narrow windows and grand archways typical of this area. Additionally, when traveling and shooting on location, orders placed during these periods will be dispatched upon my return. This may result in delivery times extending to several weeks. However, rest assured that the wait for these unique pieces is well worth it!
