In this photograph, a weathered older man with a white beard and a long coat pedals his bicycle along a quiet street in Toronto. The sun is casting a soft warm glow on the scene. The man's bike is old and well-used, with rusted spokes and a faded paint job. He seems lost in thought as he pedals along, his eyes fixed on some distant point on the horizon.
From a photographic point of view, I captured this scene using a shallow depth of field to isolate the older man and his bike from the background. The sunlight adds a sense of warmth and nostalgia to the image, while the use of black and white emphasizes the age and history of the setting.
