Voronet Monastery in Bucovina, Romania
Voronet is a monastery UNESCO world heritage site in Romania. The church is located in the small town of Gura Humorului, Moldavia. This church is one of the famous painted monasteries from southern Bukovina. The ancient church drawings were created in1488 by Stephen III of Moldavia. He built the Voronet Monastery to commemorate the victory at the Battle of Vaslui.
