Train of grain cars across the Canadian Prairies

The Canadian prairies are unique. The Canadian prairies is a vast 2,000km expanse of plains, forests, and farmland stretching between Ontario to British Columbia.
Ninety percent of Canada's farmland is in the Canadian prairies. Vast fields of wheat, barley, and other crops as far as the eye can see are among the Canadian Prarie region’s most iconic sights. Flatness is by far the defining adjective of the region.

This sunset photograph beautifully embodies the essence of the expansive prairie fields. Way off in the distance is a line of train cars that stretches across the entire panoramic landscape picture. Some of these railway trains stretch many miles in length.
