Quite street at a Marthas Vineyards fishing village
Quint Fishing Village, off the beaten track
Here we have a photograph of a quaint little fishing village and quiet street in the morning. Menemsha is a working fishing village located on the island of Martha's Vineyard in the town of Chilmark. The gritty Menemsha fish shacks in this off-the-beaten-track location make one feel like they have just entered a time machine into an era where life was hard, and people had to struggle to make a living as a commercial fisherman. Each of these buildings in the photograph has boats and docks tied to them. These are actual working buildings for the fisherman for storage of equipment.
The gravel and dirt street has several fishing shack buildings that are old and weathered. The foreground building is covered with grey cedar shingles and old 20th-century windows still intact.

Which is better, TIFF or JPG, for art prints?
One of the most frequently asked questions is what is the difference between JPG and TIFF? I have written an article discussing the difference. Click here for more information.
