People walking W39th street New York City hot summer
New York is a remarkable city and remains my favorite place to stroll on the streets for photographic opportunities. I like this photograph taken standing in the center of W39th Street in Manhattan. The people are moving in all directions. Your eye keeps wandering around the fine-art picture. The road is dry, yet there are at least 4 New Yorkers walking with umbrellas fully open. Do these people even care about traffic? The cars and trucks navigate the crowded streets in an endless pursuit of various destinations.
Even the buildings in this black and white photograph have many interesting architectural details that keep you looking and observing new aspects. For example, one Manhattan building is covered in plastic sheets as many buildings are renovated to enhance the value. The 19th-century architectural details in these office buildings are too numerous to mention but keep the viewer interested again.

Which is better, TIFF or JPG, for art prints?
One of the most frequently asked questions is what is the difference between JPG and TIFF? I have written an article discussing the difference. Click here for more information.
