The most famous Istanbul Mosque. The Blue Mosque in Turkey is a beautiful building which is also known as the Mosque of Ahmed I, Sultan Ahmed Cami, or Sultan Ahmed mosque. Istanbul Mosque was built between 1609 and 1616. It has six minarets: four on the sides, and two slightly less high - on the outer corners. The height of the minaret is 64 meters. Later, the mosque was named Blue, because decorations by ceramics tiles, painted with blue and white colors, and was also decorated with blue patterns.
I loved traveling to and photographing in Istanbul. My wife and I walked everywhere and we were greeted warmly by the local residents.
