Grunge image of distressed wall with bicycle
The wall is full of texture with a bicycle propped up against it in this small village of Kochi, India. The graffiti on the wall and peeled posters make for an enticing backdrop for the classic bike leaning on the wall. The diagonal steel pole in the center of the photograph is rather peculiar. What was its purpose? It did not support any structure or hold any sign.
The ground covered with debris and various trash that littered in the laneway, but I love the people of India as they are one of the most friendly in the world, but the level of pollution and garbage on the streets can be unbearable at times.
This image is shot with a Leica M9 Range Finder camera and Summilux-M 21mm f/1.4 lens. The quality of the optics with this lens is simply outstanding.
