Forest trees covered in snow
Many trees in the dense forest covered in snow
The landscape nature image above is from the Haliburton Highlands in Northern Ontario, not far from where I live. This early November snowfall was particularly interesting since it was still relatively warm, creating fog or misty conditions. Thus, giving this photograph depth as you look at all the various shades of tree branches and trunks. In addition, the snow is moist, so it sticks to every small branch and twig that can be seen. As a result, all the small tree branches are visible and are evenly dispersed throughout the photograph, creating a good sense of being there.

Which is better, TIFF or JPG, for art prints?
One of the most frequently asked questions is what is the difference between JPG and TIFF? I have written an article discussing the difference. Click here for more information.
