Fishing Buildings Charlotte, Prince Edward Island Canada

The weather was rainy and gloomy in the Canadian Maritimes. The Maritimes are famous for their fisheries industry. No urban photography collection of Canada would be complete without solid images of the people and places of the Candian East Coast.

The picture was taken of the buildings and garages supporting the fishers' daily activities—three wooded garages in a row on a barren street. One of the three wooden structures serves as a boat rental and tour shop for the many tourists that frequent the village. The sky in this photo is flat grey with a hint of clouds. This grey cloud cover enhances the mood of the Canadian Maritime scene.

Which is better, TIFF or JPG, for art prints?

One of the most frequently asked questions is what is the difference between JPG and TIFF? I have written an article discussing the difference. Click here for more information.
