FDR Drive photographed from the Manhattan Bridge
New York City Street Traffic
FDR Drive was photographed from the Manhattan Bridge, New York City. The Manhattan Bridge has many photo opportunities. From the Manhattan side, you get some really great vantage points such as this one from above of FDR Drive. FDR Drive is the busy highway that is between the East River and lower Manhattan. Here you can photograph the FDR Drive between the two bridges (Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge). Since the subway travels across the Manhattan Bridge, a tripod would not yield the best results.
To shoot low light like my image, you should increase the ISO in order for handheld shooting. View more of my New York City shoots here.
