Courtyard with old German buildings
Traveling during the off-season can be great for photography. Dresden, Germany, is no exception. The courtyard in the photo has three people visible; the rest is baron.
The old buildings and architecture of the surrounding buildings give this photograph an old-world feel. The muted saturation provides the viewer with the impression that the scene they are looking at could have been taken 60 years ago.
The old European building to the left has "DEM VATERLAND ZU ZIER UND EHR" written on it. The building, built-in 1894, is the Dresden Academy of Arts. The inscription translates into "For the Honour and Adornment of the Fatherland."
