Classic cars passing by the streets of Old Havana
Small crowded street in Havana, Cuba where old classic cars travel filled with tourists
Cuba is just simply a photographer's paradise. My wife and I spent 11 days in Havana and Trinidad, Cuba, and we walked and photographed from morning till night. My wife, Mary Louise, shoots, which makes adventuring with exotic locals fantastic.
I FEEL Cuba in this image
This shot was just one of that random, spur-of-the-moment action shots. The classic American car taxi passed us on the tight streets of Old Havana, and I just turned and took a couple of quick snaps. The vehicle traffic drives down the old historic city street.
The image was not planned and is not perfect (technically) by any stretch of the imagination. The sun flare overexposed the top portion of the image, which is not horizontal. I left it 'off-balance to keep the woman against the wall in the frame. Yet, it's one of my favorite images from the trip.
What we have here is an 'S' curve. The viewer's eyes start with the station wagon, drawn to the woman against the wall and then back to the taxi and down the street.

Which is better, TIFF or JPG, for art prints?
One of the most frequently asked questions is what is the difference between JPG and TIFF? I have written an article discussing the difference. Click here for more information.
